Our decking tile (acacia wood, teak wood, slate stone, and artificial grass) are designed to be installed on a completely flat, firm and level surface. For best performance, the surface must be flat and level (no slopes, dips or uneven areas), solid and stable (no soft ground or loose gravel) and well drained.
Tiles are designed as a floating system and may shift during use if not properly contained. For best stability, installations should be fully enclosed within a basin, recess, or surrounded by fixed walls, edging or permanent boundary restraints.
Our deck tiles are designed for ground-level applications only. Installation on upper floors, rooftops, balconies, terraces, or raised structures is done at the buyers own discretion and responsibility. When installed above ground level, tiles are more exposed to wind and weather. This can increase the risk of tiles lifting or shifting and can create a safety hazard. We are not responsible for movement, lifting, damage or any resulting issues by installation above ground level.
